Toyota Continues to Establish Their Commitment to Safety
After a voluntary recall in 2009, Toyota Motor Corporation has made significant strides in rebuilding their reputation for manufacturing safe vehicles. Launching vehicle demonstration programs and new quality initiatives, the company has seen a sharp decrease in sudden acceleration claims, which have reduced by 80% since April 2010. Although there was speculation that some of the recalled vehicles were due to driver error, Toyota has put all blame aside and is determined to establish their commitment to safety.
