Toyota has positive showing at Chicago Auto Show with the 2011 Avalon
Blending classic luxury with cutting-edge technology, Toyota unveiled the completely redesigned 2011 Avalon at the Chicago Auto Show last month. On the exterior, Toyota added sleek, modern lines and luxury features including halogen projector headlamps and dual exhaust pipes. However, I was particularly impressed with the numerous high-end touches that refined the interior design and enhance both the passenger and driver’s experience.
On the interior, 2010 Toyota NJ drivers will notice that the craftsmanship on the 2011 Avalon focuses on higher quality finishes and rich wood-grain that raise this vehicle to the top of the premium large sedan category. Passengers will also notice that their comfort has not been overlooked, as one of the most unique features of the new Avalon is its reclining backseat.
Designed with today’s tech-saavy customer in mind, options lilke the state-of-the-art touch-screen navigation system with real-time traffic information and hands free Bluetooth capability are new to the 2011 Avalon. When you’re not finding the fastest route to a meeting or joining a conference call from the driver’s seat, the Avalon also features both USB and 1/8-inch auxiliary connections for your iPod to enjoy through the standard nine-speaker system.
Since safety is a top concern for Toyota, many features comes standard, including energy absorbing structures, protective side impact beams and overhead structure, advanced belt systems and active front headrests as well as seven airbags to cushion passengers in an impact. To keep the driver’s attention on the road at all times, the steering wheel includes controls for Bluetooth hands-free phones, the audio system, climate system, and the information center
In Newark Toyota brakes recalls and acceleration issues have led some buyers to hesistate on purchasing a Toyota. However, the design of the 2011 Avalon features a redesigned accelerator pedal assembly and a brake override system that addresses any concerns New Jersey drivers may have had.
Though safety features abound on the 2011 Toyota Avalon, many of them are carried over from the 2010 Toyota NJ dealerships currently have on their lots. Of course, Newark Toyota brakes can be checked at any dealership to ensure their safety before you even drive off the lot. This is a terrific opportunity to snatch up remaining 2010 Avalon models at rock bottom prices before the 2011 Toyota Avalon rolls out later this year.
